Across the room Trigger McBullit sensed Bootknife’s not-so-miserable demeanor and it pissed him off. In fact, there wasn’t much that didn’t piss Trigger off, from smiling infants to cheerful old biddies, Trigger was regularly offended by the happiness of his fellow man.
